Wilkes Community Partnership for Children is working with select elementary schools to host kindergarten Jump Start Readiness Camps. In June 2024 we will host Camp Jumpstart at the following elementary schools:

Boomer-Ferguson, CC Wright, North Wilkesboro, Traphill, Ronda-Clingman, Roaring River, Mulberry and Millers Creek.

These are fun events for the whole family to experience what a kindergarten day feels like. Participating families for this event must be in the district of or planning to attend kindergarten in the Fall of 2024. These camps are for students and parents to attend together. Parents will have an opportunity to network with other parents while receiving resources and strategies to help your child have the best start to school. Details about each event will be shared by the schools.
