Play 2 Learn fall 2023 registration is now open until Friday, September 8.

The session begins the week of September 19.

Morning sessions offered Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 9:30 AM-11:00 AM. Afternoon Sessions are offered on Wednesdays from 1:30 PM-3:00 PM.

A FLEX Day THURS. will be offered for parents whose schedules will not allow them to participate in other weekly sessions. Ask Ms. Anita about details.

Location: NW Presbyterian Church - 804 E St, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659

Families are registered based upon a first come, first serve basis. Acceptance is limited to the availability of open slots. Families may only sign up for one session per week. Children must be ages birth to five. Families must live in Wilkes County.

For families that are confirmed as registered by September 8, an Open House will take place the week of September 11 at NW Presbyterian Church. Open House dates and times are the same as Play 2 Learn dates and times. Families can come by, fill out paperwork, and see the classroom before session begins the next week. This is a great time to meet the teachers and ask your questions!

Play 2 Learn Groups are available to families of infants/toddlers and preschoolers who are not currently enrolled in licensed childcare. Caregivers learn what to expect from their children as they grow and develop, as well as the ways children learn through play. There are opportunities to meet other parents and learn about available community resources. Parents and caregivers are introduced to strategies to develop children's oral language, phonological awareness, and emergent writing skills and how to incorporate activities into everyday situations with their children. Play 2 Learn Groups feature hands-on activities using a variety of developmentally appropriate materials, books, and learning activities.
